6 New Supporting Churches

by

March was one crazy month as we traveled thousands of miles, but the Lord took care of us each step of the way. We were in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and California! Which marks our first coast to coast trip.

One morning we woke up in Beaufort, SC near the Atlantic and that night we were in San Bernadino, CA near the Pacific Ocean. We were in 3 missions conferences and 11 meetings. We had 5 new churches take us on for support!

On the first Wednesday of April, we had another church vote to take us on. We praise the Lord for what He has been doing through His people! Thank you, to each person who has prayed for us and each church that has had us in to present our ministry!

Our Generation Camp

by

Many people at the churches we have been visiting are burdened about getting the Gospel to all the world, and they ask how they can get involved. Maybe you have the same desire. Maybe when missionaries open their hearts to you about the millions of lost people, your heart aches. You feel an incredible need to tell others about Christ! One of the best things that any Christian can do is take an honest look at the people across this planet, see their needs, and learn about them. As you realize the condition of their souls and their need for Christ, you can make steps towards doing something about it. This is the purpose of the Our Generation Camp.

It is an intense week of preachers and missionaries pouring out their hearts for the lost. You will meet people that have the same passion to reach the world with the Gospel in our generation! It is encouraging to hear what God is doing all across the world for His Name’s sake! You will have the opportunity to speak with veteran missionaries, and hear them tell their stories of how God slew the giants of Islam and Buddhism in the lives of the people that were reached! You can get involved with what God is doing all over the world! Take a moment to read what is happening at this years camp by clicking here.

If you are not satisfied with only 33% of the world proclaiming Christ as their savior and want to reach the other 67% of the world, then sign up for Our Generation camp and learn how you can get involved! Every choice you make forms the direction of your life. By your choices, where is your life heading?

Japan Fest

by

Went to the Japan Fest in Gwinnett County not too long ago and wanted to share some of the videos I took from it. We had a blast there, and Rebelle had the chance to dress up in a Japanese Kimono.

The best part would have to be the Japanese Katana demonstration!

My friend Jeremy checked out his Buddhist fortune. Buddhist believe these to be very accurate and will often change something in their life to prevent or cause the fortune to come true.

His Good Fortune

I don’t think I have mentioned this yet, but I love Japanese Koi! They are an amazing display of God’s creation! My favorite part of this video is when the Koi tries to swim up the water fall!

This year’s fest was sad as well, there were many pictures of the destruction from the 9.0 earthquake and tsunami.

There were many booths where you could buy merchandise to support the rebuilding of Japan. Like these origami swans.
I ask that you would continue to pray for the Miagi Prefecture as it is being rebuilt. We praise the Lord that through this more Japanese people have been coming to churches and now see Christianity and churches as a place of help. I read this article from  go2japan.org “Churches across Northeastern Japan have been the center of providing shelter, relief, and supplies. Most notable are the voices of children heard in various regions saying:“Grandma, Jesus is coming… Mr. Christ is holding a BBQ… Jesus brought us food… Jesus brought us clothing!” Prior to this disaster the church was a fairly mysterious entity in the region but now it is known as the place where help is coming from.”

As always thanks for helping us see the name of Christ rise in Japan!
