VBM Orientation

by

This past week we were excited to attend our mission board’s orientation! It was thrilling to hear from our veterean missionaries, and learn from their experience. I’m thankful to be a part of Vision Baptist Missions, but even more so to be a part of the family that VBM encompasses. There are many great mission boards out there, but few offer a close team of missionaries and even fewer that are close enough to call family. We may be small in size, but I would gladly spend and be spent for them and they for me. Our heart, our desire is to see the nations worship Christ!

We are blessed to be part of such a team of friends and co-laborers in Christ! On the left you can see Mark Coffey showing a map of where God has placed our team through out the world! The picture on the right is Robert Canfield talking about our ministry philosophy of Be-Do-Serve-Train. Learn more about it at www.bcwe.org.

Three New Supporting Churches

by

We’ve had three new supporting churches so far in April! On 4-11, we were at Gospel Baptist Tabernacle Church in NC. I was able to preach, and at the end of the service, Pastor David Bolick called for a vote to take us on for support! It was such a blessing to meet the people there! We praise the Lord for this church partnering with us to take the Gospel to Japan!

Wayside Baptist Church in NC has taken us on for support as well! We were in their missions conference back in February! We had a great meeting there, and got to hear some good preaching! Thank you for your support and prayers!

Pastor Mike Westmoreland, of Madison Street Baptist church in Athens, AL, called me today and let us know that they had voted to take us on for support! This was the very first missions conference we were in on deputation. We are thankful for the friends we made there, and you are in our prayers especially Heath and Haley (We miss you guys)! Thank you Pastor Mike for the opportunity you gave us to come and present our ministry!

Gospel in China

by

I’m thankful to have two brother in laws that are missionaries in the two largest countries in the world, India and China. When Rebel and I were married, not only did I get my wonderful wife, but I also became part of her dear family. The first time I met them, I felt like they were already family. I’m thankful the Lord has made it so! I ask that you would pray for Jake and Paul as God uses them in the countries God has called them to. In China it is illegal to start churches and preach the Gospel. The Chinese Three-Self Churches are ran by the government, and do not preach the Gospel. My bro. in law wrote an informative article about the situation with these churches. I ask that you would read the article,  www.thegospelinchina.com and keep them in your prayers!
